PAA - Afternoon ArtforKids, Summer Art Camp, Fiber Arts Camp, with Carol Adams (daily 1-4pm)  We've put together a week to explore the world of fiber! Campers will learn basic felting, learn the colorful hippy craze of tye-dye, and weave on a loom. Explore the colors and resist techniques of batik, and dyeing with kool-ade, details

Emphasis will be on simplifying shapes and using value, volume and proportion to create a basic framework for a drawing or painting. details

23PAA - Introduction to Silverpoint with Elinore Korow (Sunday 1:30-4:30)  Essentially its drawing with sterling silver wire. Permanent? Yes. Exquisite? Definitely. Small in size? Silverpoint works very nicely on special surfaces 6 x 8 and smaller. Over time the silver oxidizes, as silver will, and goes from a slivery gray to a tea colored brown. details

10PAA - Glass Fusing 1 w/ Marianne Hite (weds, 6 to 9 pm, meets every week)  Come join the Hot Glass Craze! This is an introduction to glass fusing - the melting together of different pieces of glass that are compatible with each other. details

Felted Doodads with Heather Quinones (Sat 12-3pm)  Lets felt us up some do-dads! This class will incorporate a little wet felting, a little needle work, and some needle felting. Depending on how much your creativity takes over we can create a couple 3-d flowers, a bee, a turtle/animal of your choice, and possibly a fairy or two. details

14Scarf Art, Felting with Heather Quinones (Sat 1-4pm)  Interesting in the felting process but feeling a little trepidation about starting? Or are you an experienced felter who is curious about new techniques? This is the class for both the novice and experienced felter. In this class you will have your choice of creating designs in a flat scarf or creating a ladder scarf. details
